Authenticity

Vanguard has a passion for recreating the arms and armour of the period to the highest degree of possible authenticity. Our regular tournament shows, specifically, portray the year 1295, the turn of the century and just prior to the introduction of early plate armour and visored helmets.

However, one of the events Vanguard is most passionate about is the recreation of the Battle of Evesham, 1265.
